This gives access to a lot of users. What is the Internet? Internet is just a big fancy word for a HUGE NETWORK. The internet, being a huge network, is essentially just a HUGE AMOUNT of machines all connected together. How Do I Download a File? Click the file that you
wish to download -- It will ask you where you want to save the file -- A window will open that says "Save As" at the top -- In the top middle of the box you will see a button with a down arrow -- Click once on the down arrow and it will show a "C:" -- Clcick on the C: and select Desktop -- Then click the Save button -- From here it could take 2 minutes to 2 hours depending on the file size. Once the file is on your hard drive -- Double click the file off of your desktop and it should
start installing for you -- answer any questions it may ask. What if my downloaded file ends with a ".ZIP"? If you have a file that ends in .ZIP -- this simply means that a compression program was used to make the program compact and easy to send over the internet. You will need a program like WinZip or PKUNZIP to uncompress the files. These ZIP Programs can also be downloaded at Download.com. Simply type in the program in the Search field.
